Inspired by folklore, mythology and social history, Amy Jade Prints creates lino cuttings using traditional techniques and materials. This month, she’s taken over our café to display some of her beautiful work!
Bold shapes are printed from black ink on contrasting white background to create images which are both striking and detailed.
Having studied a degree in Illustration and Animation, her signature style comes through across all of her designs. Amy starts her process working in pencil to map out her designs and then moves onto carving these out of lino and printing them. Each step is done by hand, making every single piece she creates completely unique.
As well as being a part of our artist takeover, Amy will be bringing some of her pieces to our SUMMER PARTY on Friday 21st June, where she’ll be selling more of her prints and you can chat to her about her process! Come down and meet her or pop in the café throughout June to browse her work.
