Create Your Own Sequins Online Workshop

Have a go at creating your very own fused recycled sequin sheets that you can cut up and stitch onto a variety of projects. The live Zoom workshop will introduce you to Jessica's techniques of creating your sequin sheets by adding a variety of threads, recycled material scraps and sequins to waste plastic and fusing into solid sheets. You will need to have access to an iron and heat proof mat at home in order to complete this workshop.
After creating different fused sheets you will also have a go at adding metallic foiling to the sequin sheets and then looking at different ways the sequins can be cut out and applied to fabric. You will leave the online class with a mini textile sampler showcasing your unique hand-crafted sequins and simple hand embroidery stitches. This class is suitable for all abilities - no previous textile or embroidery experience is necessary!
