ABOUT US

Established in July 2018, my aim at Workshop was to make sewing and craft more accessible. I wanted to become more active within the sewing community but make it easy for others to join as well. I have always loved sewing and creating Workshop allows me to share my passion.

A key thing for us is that pieces should be versatile for a modern wardrobe and the concept of beautiful basics in mind. My aim is to curate a collection from which you can create strong wardrobe staples that are both wearable and stylish. It is minimal, striking and functional. Plain fabrics in tonal colours form the foundation of our range, yet we’ve mixed in wearable patterns and prints to allow you to piece together your perfect wardrobe. We pride ourselves on quality and every item is carefully selected with this in mind.

We have a mix of fabric and equipment for anyone from beginners to advanced sewers, as well as gifts, prints and other pieces. So if you’re just starting out or have been sewing for years, have a browse of our collection and see what you can find.

Through our range of gifts and artwork, we aim to bring you an assortment of unique pieces. We work with local artists, creatives and independent makers to pull together a distinctive selection of beautiful items. Design is at the forefront of what we do and we love to be able to share this through our collection.

We've just opened a sewing café in Leeds. From here, we sell a range of fabric, gifts and prints and we’ll teach workshops and classes and have events where you can meet other hobbyists.

There’s also a lot of big things planned in our future. We have a pattern collection in the pipeline set to launch soon, as well as a blog. For more details on what we’re up to or simply to keep in touch, find us on Pinterest or follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
