This is an online workshop.
How does it work?
Prior to the session you will receive all of the equipment and materials you will need through the post. Along with a Meeting ID and Password for Zoom. Using these, you can log in to the class at the time of the workshop!
For this workshop, you need an embroidery hoop and needle. If you don't have one, add one to your order using the drop down menu.
We're based in the UK, and understand shipping can be expensive for international orders. If you live elsewhere and would like to join the class, we can offer a separate option to provide your own materials. To do this, get in touch with us at contact@helloworkshop.co.uk, we'll send you a payment link at a discounted rate along with a materials list.
What's included?
- Painted fabric base
- Selection of threads/wools/yarn
- Small mixed embellishments including sequins, beads and buttons

What you will need at home to join in:
- Embroidery hoop (optional)
- Large and small eye sewing needle
- Scissors

Jessica is a contemporary embroidery artist who works from her studio in Leeds with the assistance of her studio cat Spencer the tabby! She create colourful and highly tactile textiles and sculptures that utilise many recycled and waste materials. She also teaches workshops and courses across the country to schools, private groups and organisations. Jessica’s work has been sold and exhibited across the UK and Europe and she is also a Crafts Council Directory maker. She was awarded the Embroiderers Guild Scholar award in 2018 for her textile practice.
