Stitchscapes Fabric Collage Workshop with Hayley Mills-Styles
Stitchscapes Fabric Collage Workshop
Join textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles for this two-hour fabric collage workshop inspired by the Yorkshire landscape. Hayley will guide you through the technique of applique using a variety of different fabrics to create your stitchscape.
Learn how to embellish your stitchscape with different stitches including stem stitch, lazy daisy stitch and straight stitches. Add some texture with the embroidery and beads to create a unique stitched picture.
All materials and equipment will be provided and the class is suitable for beginners and people with some embroidery experience who would like to try something new.
Hayley will be bringing a range of photos to inspire you but if you have a landscape image you would like to create, please bring it along.
