Stitchscapes Fabric Collage Workshop
Join textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles for a two-hour fabric collage and hand embroidery workshop. With no previous experience required, this class is perfect for beginners and people with some embroidery experience.
Hayley will guide you through the basics of fabric collage and some hand embroidery stitches to create your own fabric stitchscape embroidery hoop.
This is an online workshop.
How does it work?
Prior to the session you will receive all of the equipment and materials you will need through the post, along with a Meeting ID and Password for Zoom. Using these, you can log in to the class at the time of the workshop!

- 6 Inch Embroidery Hoop
- Size 20 Chenille Needle
- Stitch Glossary and Instructions
- Inspiration Image - If you would like to use a different image as your inspiration that’s great. You can choose a picture you’ve taken or find one online. You can even combine parts of a few different pictures to make your Stitchscape.

This workshop is taught by Hayley Mills-Styles. Hayley is an artist and tutor based in Scarborough with a passion for embroidery. She has been stitching since childhood and loves to pass on these traditional skills with a contemporary twist.
Hayley has a degree in Textile Crafts from the University of Huddersfield and a Masters in Textiles from Manchester School of Art. You can take a look at her website to find out more.
