Design Your Linda Trousers

Linda works well in a range of fabrics, and its in the fabric choice where you can take it from loungewear to daywear!

For a more relaxed pyjama trouser, why not try making Linda in a comfortable light cotton, linen or even a silk for a more luxurious piece. Linda works great in a print - we love this lemon print cotton from Always Knitting and Sewing, perfect for some summer lounging!

If you want to wear your Lindas out, why not try making them in a medium weight cotton? We love a gingham trouser, so why not try  this olive green cotton gingham from Always Knitting and Sewing?

Lindas also work great in a soft cord - why not try this gorgeous terracotta cord from Minerva Crafts, perfect for a comfy autumn look!

Fit Your Linda Trousers

With an elasticated waist, Lindas provide a super comfortable fit! If you’re in-between sizes, make your Lindas in the size up as you can cut the elastic to fit your waist perfectly.

If you’ve got longer legs, Lindas are easy to lengthen at the leg, however if you’re taller in the body, lengthen the rise instead!

Hack Your Linda Trousers

The ebook provides a pattern for Linda trousers and Linda shorts, however Linda can be over the knee, under the knee - any length you want!

For a more fitted look, why not adding elastic to the hem for a cuffed trouser or short?

Style Your Linda Trousers

The ebook provides contains patterns for the Lottie top and the Lena cropped shirt, both of which match perfectly with Linda to make a super cute pyjama set!

Moving from loungewear to daywear, why not pair your Linda trousers with an oversized jumper and trainers for a cosy autumn/winter look?

Lindas also look great paired with a plain t-shirt or crop top and sandals for a casual summer/spring outfit.
