This month's artist takeover is by the wonderful Hayley Mills-Styles!
Hayley is a textiles and thread artist who uses traditional techniques such as hand embroidery and applique to create textiles drawings and objects. Through combining these with digitally embroidery, she turns fabric and thread into beautifully designed creations.
Her work is often draws upon her own life and experiences and she has had exhibitions in various museums and heritage sites.
We're lucky enough to be working with her on a small display of her work which will be free to view in the cafe. From this you can see some of her beautiful embroidery pieces and even commission her to embroider an Instagram picture.
Along with her textiles pieces, Hayley will be selling tote bags, postcards and prints. She'll also be teaching a couple of workshops here where she'll be sharing her textiles skills. You can book her HAND APPLIQUE AND EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP here or take a look at her FAMILY FRIENDLY CROSS STITCH CLASS for the little ones.
Take a look at HAYLEY'S WEBSITE for more information on her previous work and inspirations and visit for an insight into her life as an artist.
